Romeoville (Red) White Sox played a solid season opener. Bats were hot in the first inning, leading off with Niko singling and grabbing second on an error. Andrei and Parker both doubled down the left field line, each scoring one run in the first. A single by Colton drove in a run in the second, and a second double by Andrei extended the lead early in the third. Colton singled again in the top of the fourth. Niko and Jaxon stole 7 and 6 bases respectively. Braedyn commanded the mound during the first two innings for Romeoville, only giving up two hits, and one run. Colton struck out the first two batters in 6 pitches and was just one pitch away from an immaculate inning before giving up two hits and no runs in the third inning. In the fourth inning, Niko faced five batters in the fourth, giving up one hit, walking one, and striking out two.

Max W’s Clutch Hitting Propels Stanish-Inhouse 12u To Victory Over Team 2

Max W drove in four runs on two hits to lead Stanish-Inhouse 12u past Team 2 19-4 on Saturday. Max singled in the third scoring two, singled in the first scoring one, and walked in the second scoring one.

Team 2 got on the board in the top of the first inning after CT S singled to center field, and Tristan  M walked, each scoring one run.

Stanish-Inhouse 12u flipped the game on its head in the bottom of the first, scoring six runs on three hits to take the lead, 6-2. The biggest blow in the inning was a single by Sean S that drove in two.

Stanish-Inhouse 12u scored eight runs on two hits in the bottom of the second inning. Matthew L drew a walk, scoring one run, Parker K drew a walk, scoring one run, Max drew a walk, scoring one run, Noah R drew a walk, scoring one run, Sammy B drew a walk, scoring one run, Logan C singled, scoring one run, and Ryan S singled, scoring one run.

Stanish-Inhouse 12u extended their early lead with five runs in the bottom of the third thanks to RBI singles by Cole K, Max, Sammy, and Logan.

Max earned the win for Stanish-Inhouse 12u. The starting pitcher allowed four hits and four runs over two innings, striking out six and walking five.

Stanish-Inhouse 12u piled up 11 hits in the game. Finn C, Logan, and Max each collected two hits for Stanish-Inhouse 12u. Noah paced Stanish-Inhouse 12u with three walks. Overall, the team had patience at the plate, accumulating 15 walks for the game. Finn, Lucas L, Max, and Sammy each stole multiple bases for Stanish-Inhouse 12u. Stanish-Inhouse 12u ran wild on the base paths, accumulating 13 stolen bases for the game. Stanish-Inhouse 12u didn’t commit a single error in the field. Lucas had the most chances in the field with seven.

CT went 2-for-2 at the plate and led the team with three runs batted in. CT and Caleb G each stole multiple bases for Team 2. Team 2 ran wild on the base paths, accumulating eight stolen bases for the game.

Next up for Stanish-Inhouse 12u is a game against Team 1 on Thursday.

Romeoville Red Tops St. Joe’s BF Tire 17-7

Romeoville Red defeated St. Joe’s BF Tire on Tuesday thanks to hot bats and solid pitching. Andrei led Romeoville Red in hits with a double in the first inning, single in the fifth.

Red’s starting pitcher, Colton, gave up zero hits and zero runs over two innings, striking out six and walking none.

Niko went 1-for-3 at the plate and led the team with three RBIs. Parker crushed a double in top of the third. Carson collected a clutch RBI in the third with a ground out to the pitcher and a single in the 5th. Landon collected a single in the third. Colton had two hits. Aiden advanced the runners with a ground out to right field and a solid play in the fifth. Jaxon, Niko, and Braedyn stole multiple bases, with Romeoville collecting 19 walks and 14 stolen bases in the game.

Romeoville’s catcher, Aiden, was solid behind the plate.

The Romeoville Red White Sox squeezed out a narrow victory over Romeoville Black Sox April 15

The Red White Sox held on for a 10-9 victory over the Black Sox in a competitive match up on Tuesday. Red got on the board scoring 5 runs in the top of the first inning thanks to a single from Andre, a double from Braedyn, and a double from Landon. Black Sox were hot at the plate, running up 7 runs in the bottom of the first, thanks in part to a triple from Noah.

Red tied the game in the second with a single to center field in the top of the second. A steal of home by Isaac brought the Black Sox back into the lead in the bottom of the second.

In the sixth inning, a double from Andrei, a single from Colton, and a single from Carson allowed Red to capture the lead.

Colton started for Red, surrendering nine hits and eight runs over four innings, striking out seven and walking four. Angel started on the mound for Black, surrendering four hits and five runs over one inning, striking out two and walking 3.

A flyout to Landon in left field and two strike outs from Red’s closer, Andrei, allowed Romeoville Red to take home a win.

Both teams racked up 9 hits. Red struck out 14 times, walked 13 times, and had 7 RBIs. Black struck out 12 times, collected 6 walks, and had 6 RBIs.

Lucas L Puts On Strong Contact Performance As Stanish-Inhouse 12u Take The Win Over Team 5

Lucas L collected three hits in three at bats, as Stanish-Inhouse 12u defeated Team 5 19-7 on Saturday. Lucas doubled in the second inning, singled in the fourth inning, and singled in the first inning.

Stanish-Inhouse 12u won thanks in part to 10 runs in the third inning. a dropped third strike scored one run, a steal of home scored one run, Logan C drew a walk, scoring one run, Noah R doubled, scoring two runs, Lucas drew a walk, scoring one run, Finn C tripled, scoring two runs, Parker K singled, scoring one run, and Cole K singled, scoring one run.

Stanish-Inhouse 12u got on the board in the bottom of the first inning after Max W singled to right field, Parker grounded out, and Cole doubled down the left field line, each scoring one run.

Stanish-Inhouse 12u added two runs in the second. Lucas doubled to left field, making the score 5-1.

Team 5 flipped the game on its head in the top of the third, scoring five runs on three hits to take the lead, 6-5. The biggest blow in the inning was a single by Noah R on the sixth pitch of the at-bat that drove in three.

The starter gave up seven hits and seven runs (six earned) over two and one-third innings, striking out seven and walking two. Lucas appeared in relief for Stanish-Inhouse 12u.

Stanish-Inhouse 12u piled up 18 hits in the game. Finn drove the middle of the lineup, leading Stanish-Inhouse 12u with three runs batted in. The number three hitter went 2-for-3 on the day. Lucas, Sammy B, and Cole each collected three hits for Stanish-Inhouse 12u. Noah and Parker each collected multiple hits for Stanish-Inhouse 12u. Stanish-Inhouse 12u had patience at the plate, tallying nine walks for the game. Matthew L and Max led the team with two walks each. Noah, Matthew, Finn, Lucas, Parker, Logan, Max, Sammy, and Cole each stole multiple bases for Stanish-Inhouse 12u. Stanish-Inhouse 12u stole 36 bases in the game. Stanish-Inhouse 12u were sure-handed in the field and didn’t commit a single error. Sean S had the most chances in the field with five.

Gage C, Noah, Owen S, Jake R, and Maxwell L each collected one hit for Team 5. Noah, Owen, Jake, and Maxwell each drove in one run for Team 5. Rowan M, Gage, Owen, Maxwell, and Hunter H each stole multiple bases for Team 5. Team 5 had patience at the plate, accumulating six walks for the game. Team 5 stole 16 bases in the game. Team 5 were sure-handed in the field and didn’t commit a single error. Owen had the most chances in the field with six.
