The Vipers -Cooling Team Overcomes Zielinski In Face of Early 3-Run Inning

Even though the Vipers gave up three runs in the sixth inning, they still defeated Zielinski 8-5 on Saturday. Zielinski batters contributing to the big inning included Austin K and Alex K, who all drove in runs.

The Vipers got things moving in the first inning. An error scored one run for the Vipers.

Ace P earned the win for the Vipers. The fireballer allowed two hits and two runs over three innings, striking out six and walking one. Ryan C threw two innings in relief out of the bullpen.

Connor O took the loss for Zielinski. The pitcher went two innings, allowing three runs on four hits, striking out one and walking zero.

Early Lead For Gruber Seals Fate For The Vipers -Cooling 2021

The Vipers -Cooling 2021 watched the game slip away early and couldn’t recover in an 18-9 loss to Gruber on Tuesday. Gruber scored on a walk by Colin S, a walk by Hagenbaumer, and an error in the first inning.

The Vipers lost despite out-hitting Gruber ten to eight.

Gruber opened up scoring in the first inning, when Colin drew a walk, scoring one run.

The Vipers tallied four runs in the second inning. Luke D, Ace P, and JJ M each had RBIs in the frame.

Gruber scored six runs in the second inning. Christian H, Ruben C, Colin , and Hagenbaumer each had RBIs in the big inning.

Passehl was the winning pitcher for Gruber. Passehl allowed eight hits and seven runs over one and two-thirds innings, striking out two and walking one. Michael H and Hagenbaumer entered the game out of the bullpen and helped to close out the game in relief.
