Minooka Broncos Clinch Lead in the Sixth Inning for Victory Over Troy Minooka Broncos nabbed the lead late in the game in a 4-2 victory over Troy’s Garbin Insurance on Saturday.  The game was tied at two in the bottom of the sixth when Justin Jones singled on a 2-2 count, scoring one run. Dylan Fuller was the winning pitcher for Minooka.  He allowed one hit and two runs over four innings, striking out ten. Colin Sierra allowed zero hits and zero runs over three innings, striking out five and allowing one walk. Ingram with Troy’s Garbin Insurance had four strike outs, while Purcell had six, it was not enough to stop Minooka. Justin Jones led Minooka with two hits in three at bats. Both teams had several stole bases.

Despite seeing its 11 run lead whittled down by the end, Troy Titans (T 12) still held off St Joes (SJ 9) for a 12 – 10 victory Saturday.
St Joes tallied nine runs in the failed comeback. St Joes scored 8 runs in the fifth inning, but Troy still managed to pull out the victory.
The Titans put up 6 runs in the third inning, The offensive onslaught came from singles by Brandon B. William C. and Frank K. a walk by Francesco D. and a triple by Miguel M. Titans collected 10 hits on the day. John, Miguel, and William all collected multiple hits for Troy. 5 Players stole at least 2 bases. John led the way with 6.

Minooka Broncos Win Big Against St. Joe’s Turk Furniture
Minooka Broncos had everything working on Tuesday, winning big over St. Joe’s 15-1.  Minooka fired up the offense in the first inning, when Dylan Fuller singled on a 2-1 count, scoring one run.  Minooka tallied six runs in the fourth inning. Fuller, Anthony Rodriguez, Charlie Jacobs and Cullin Willis each had RBIs in the frame. Justin Jones led things off on the mound for Minooka. He allowed only one hit and zero runs over two innings, striking out six. Spoto started the game for St. Joe’s. He lasted one and two-thirds innings, allowing four hits and six runs while striking out five. Eleueld, Juricic and Sanchez each contributed in relief for St. Joe’s. Minooka totaled 11 hits.
